How they knew each other initially

Priya & Sanjiv got introduced to each other through a social media platform. After exchanging messages, they met each other. After discussing personal likes and dislikes, they decided to “give it a try”.

Initially they were introduced to each other’s friends’ circle, where the friends who knew one of them, thoroughly questioned and grilled the other to ensure whether the other would suit and fit their bestie. If Sanjiv’s friends met and talked to Priya for a long time, Priya’s besties grilled Sanjiv.

Once Sanjiv & Priya were convinced that their potential life partners had “passed” the litmus test conducted by their friends, they were introduced to each other’s parents.

After talking and messaging to each other, Sanjiv’s parents Suresh & Sarayu first visited the Srini’s residence in December 2023. The parents immediately established rapport with each other.

The Srinis reciprocated by visiting Suresh’s residence in February 2024. This was probably the first meeting where all the immediate family members met and got to know each other. Later, in March 2024, Sanjiv’s maternal grandmother visited to meet Priya and her family. 

In due course the fathers met at a local cafetaria for a cup of coffee & seriously started discussing the possibility of fixing a date in the near future for the engagement.
